Barrack Business, Real Estate & Entrepreneurship Partners

The Business, Real Estate & Entrepreneurship Partners is the new Barrack affinity group. As the name suggests, its mission is to bring together individuals and families in these professions and affiliated fields to engage in learning, social, networking, mentorship and philanthropic opportunities to support the future generations of Jewish leaders at Barrack.
The Barrack Business, Real Estate & Entrepreneurship Affinity Group raises funds to support student activities such as STEAM competitions, DECA (DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe), off-site trips to experience real life programs and businesses.
The Partners are dedicated to creating a network within the Barrack community in the business/real estate and entrepreneurship professions, offering professional networking and social opportunities, business development opportunities, philanthropic engagement, mentorship for our alumni, and providing guidance and support for students interested in pursuing business and real estate careers.

Student Impact
I really enjoyed learning about how Berger Communities manages and develops apartments and communities, and it was interesting to hear about the different aspects of running a real estate business. It was a great opportunity to see how the business concepts we studied in class work in the real world.Ari '28 |
I was so fascinated by how you preach the idea of listening to your clients first and reacting second. Hearing how much you value understanding your clients’ needs before acting was both insightful and inspiring. It was fascinating to see how that principle guides your business. I am interested in pursuing a similar pathway in the future, and seeing the perspective of your group was very valuable to me. Thank you again for welcoming us; it was truly a memorable and educational visit.Tyler '27 |
Thank you so much for hosting our field trip to DAS and the new apartment complexes. I especially loved the different stations and how we actually got to be a part of the work. My favorite was definitely the marketing station and the chance to build our own brand with different products of our choosing. This was an amazing opportunity to see how business concepts come together in the real world. I'm thankful for the time and effort that you put into this day.Madi '27 |
