Under the supervision of Community Kashrus of Greater Philadelphia (Keystone-K), DFH Catering prepares a hot kosher lunch daily for our Barrack school community. Their made-fresh style of cooking is complemented by a fresh new look of the school’s cafeteria that has been named “The Dish.” The Barrack community enjoys lunch and special holiday celebrations and events that feature traditional foods in the Batoff Family Dining Commons. Catering services area also available.
In addition to the entrée options (which are on the Lunch Calendar - select "Lunch"), each day there will be:
- Salad Bar
- Soup (October-April)
- Veggie of the day
- Pasta tossed in olive oil
- Iced Tea, Lemonade and Water
Vegetarian options will be provided daily. Dairy will be served every Tuesday and Friday.
Box lunches will be provided to those students enrolled in teh Trimester Plan for day trips away from school.
Beginning in October, there will also be the option to select the sandwich of the day instead of the entrée selection. This will include: Turkey, Roast Beef, Turkey Pastrami, Bologna, Salami, Tuna Salad, Chicken Salad Sandwich.
