Barrack vs. PJL Meet

TIE

Away game at Solebury School Get Directions

On Thursday we had our second meet of the season. Unfortunately we were a couple of teammates short, but we knew that we could still pull off a great meet! Jackie started off the meet with the 100 M Hurdles, she placed 3rd coming in with a 24.2!. Next was the 100m. Sam Chast was moved up from a later heat, into the first heat along with Avi. Both raced very well, even despite the complications with the starting official, Sam ran a 15.4 coming in 6th place, but with a few calculations , if he had been in the second heat where he was originally placed, he would have had 4th! Avi ran a 12.4 placing 3rd overall. The next event was the mile. And again, as at the last meet, Shai easily breezed by everyone and came in first running a 5:15! Or finished third, and Charles shed over 20 seconds from what he expected. Next was the 400m. Avi ran strong, and out ran his opponent in the last stretch to grab the first place victory running a 58, Mike came in with a 67, running strong through the whole race. Elliot stepped up and took the spot for us in the 800m he ran a great time of 2:09. To end the meet was the 200m race. Mike L ran a great time of 29.9, and Avi took 3rd place overall running a 25.5. Marnie shed almost 2 seconds off her last run and ran a 34.6, and Jackie soon there followed with a time of 36.1. Overall the meet went very well, shout out to the captain Mike Miller, we hope that you are feeling better.
