Barrack vs. PJAA Championship

WIN 4-1

Home game

Barracks Girls Varsity Tennis Team Defeated Doane 4-1 today in the Penn Jersey Championships! It all started with an 8-game pro set against Doane to see who was going to play Villa Victoria.  Barrack took control by winning 5-0 against Doane, leaving them scared for their future rematch against the Cougars. When the championship finally started, Villa Victoria lost to Doane, leaving Barrack to be challenged in the Finals. Everyone played a rough match, with two sets ending in air-breakers. Our doubles teams dominated their opponents, without allowing them to get more than two games in any set. Third singles, Janie Hershman quickly finished her second set without allowing the loss of even one game. Dori Hoffman played a match full of sprints and tough shots, but lost in a tie-breaker. This has been a great season for all of the Girls Varsity Tennis team, and this first place trophy for our 4-1 victory perfectly tops off the season none of us will ever forget!
