The Barrack cougars fought hard against the number two team (in our division) Renaissance. The cougars knew it wasn't going to be an easy one. After scoring 6 runs in the first inning, the cougars knew they were going to give Renaissance a run for their money. Once the score was 11-6 after the third inning, the cougars knew they would have to score more runs in order to keep up. Unfortunately, Barrack couldn't keep up and fell to Renaissance 18-7 after 5 innings. Despite missing two players, the cougars played hard. Ruthie Meles had 2 hits and Talia Raikin had 1 hit. The cougars scored mostly from walks and stolen bases. Talia Raikin pitched a great game and received the game ball.
