Barrack vs. Westmont

LOSE 10-20

Away game at Westmont Christian Get Directions

 Anna Bernstein Reporting

Today the cougars were ready to show Westmont who we are and what we are capable of despite our bitter lose on Thursdayto them. We started out really strong, having a 1,2,3 inning. When it was our time to hit, we let the pitcher walk us and when we hit we had some nice line drives. The Cougars were very aggressive on base today resulting in a lot of runs. Talia Raikin hit a nice line drive through the middle while coming from second Reena Wolnek had a beautiful slide into home. Annie Bernstein had a nice double play in the field and Gabrielle Hoessly had a nice catch out in right field. Going into the 5th and final inning the cougars were up 10-7, unfortunately we were not able to keep that lead resulting in a 20-10 lose. Game ball went to Sarah Drapkin for making great scoops at first and a beautiful 2 out hit to right center that could've resulted in a triple maybe even a home run but instead the umpire called the person on second out for leaving the base too early.
