LOSE 1-12

Home game at Barrack Softball 2014 Get Directions

 Sophia Shoulson reporting

The Cougars played a good game in the field today but had some trouble delivering offensively in our 1-12 loss against Perkiomen today. Facing off against one of the fastest pitchers in our league, we had some very smart and well-handled at bats, including a number of singles from Talia Raikin, Sophia Shoulson, Nita Rome, and Annie Bernstein, which in the final inning led to our only run. In the field, Tali Glickman pitched a great game, and Tali, Lindsay Chevlin, Nita Rome, and Alli Einhorn all had nice catches. Alli Einhorn also had a great play at third, ending a long half-inning in the field. Even though we lost, the game ball went to Tali Glickman for a great game on the mound and for braving what was probably a very painful hit by a pitch in the fourth inning. We'll get a second chance against Perk on Thursday when we play them away!
