Away game at Abington Friends School Get Directions


The Cougars faced Abington Friends on Monday. The game was very close and presented a new type of challenge both offensively as well as defensively. It was a tense game and at half time the score was 8-5, Barrack. At this point many felt like we definitely would win however Abington came ready to win and right off the bat, scoring several consecutive goals putting them ahead by one. In the last couple minutes the Cougars were able to regain momentum and tie the game making the score 11-11. In the last three minutes we scored one more goal and were able to hold that lead until the end. Game ball went to Isabel Freedman for her amazing defense and leadership. Goals were scored by Tamar Parmet and Caroline Batoff. Final score 12-11. The Cougars will play their first round of playoffs this Tuesday!!!!! GOOD LUCK COUGARS!!!!
