Away game at Abington Friends School Get Directions

 M. Jacob Martin Reporting

A team is only as strong as its weakest link.  What happens when all of the links are strong and work together well?  Abington Friends School was a perfect example of a very good team, and a very big speed bump for our team.  Abington worked extremely well together, as far as talking to each other and communicating with their coaches.  They were also very good in the field and on the mound, as they managed to keep us at zero.  They also excelled at bat, scoring ten points in 5 innings.  We had a few big hits from Micah Israel who went in to catch the whole game instead of Ilan who fractured his thumb.  Robby Ufberg had the first out of the season on a popfly.  Zach Magerman had a few pop-ups which he took down easily at third base.

There are lots of things for us to work on, as we look forward to our second and third games this week.
