Barrack vs. Life Center

WIN 13-2

Home game

 Joel Belfer Reporting

On a beautiful sunny day, the Barrack varsity baseball team took the field with a vengeance. Their opponent, Life Center, had had recent success against Barrack, most recently in the semifinals of last year's Penn-Jersey League playoffs. But today, all was different. The Cougars jumped out to a 5-0 first inning lead and didn't look back. Joel Belfer pitched four innings of no-hit ball. Daniel Maman, making the first pitching appearance of his Barrack varsity baseball career, relieved Joel in the 5th inning and closed out the game. Batters up and down the lineup contributed big hits. The team looks to continue their winning ways tomorrow against rival Perkiomen in a Tri-County League showdown. Final score: 13-2.
