Athletic Philosophy

At Barrack Hebrew Academy, athletics play an integral role in the total development of our student athletes both in our Middle School and Upper School. Through participation in our interscholastic program, our student athletes have the opportunity to develop a strong work ethic along with a solid understanding of teamwork, sportsmanship, and mutual respect. In addition, they also develop a strong sense of dedication and commitment that helps them to reach their full potential both in the athletic arena and in the classroom.

Our school provides outstanding sports facilities for our student athletes, including: an artificial turf soccer field, five all-weather tennis courts, and a new gymnasium, complete with a regulation size basketball court.

We field teams in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, and track and field. Our Varsity teams compete in both the  Penn Jersey Athletic Association and the Tri County Independent School League. Our teams capture league championships, and individual athletes are named all stars.

Our belief is that the value of participating in athletics at Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy not only helps to promote a sound mind within a sound body, but also helps to develop meaningful friendships and teaches valuable life lessons that remain with our student athletes for the rest of their lives.
