Tuition Assistance

Dear Parents:

The 2017-18 Tuition Assistance application process is open. Barrack will continue to use FACTS Management’s Grant & Aid Assessment to perform the financial aid analysis for all families applying. In order to apply for Tuition Assistance, you must complete the FACTS application online. The deadline for completing the FACTS Tuition Assistance application and submitting all necessary supporting documents has been extended to February 28, 2017.

Applications are not complete until all the following documents are received by FACTS Management:

  • Copy of 2015 Federal Tax Forms including all supporting tax schedules, W-2’s and 1099’s
  • Copy of 2016 W-2’s and 1099’s (available after January 31, 2017)
  • Copy of supporting documents for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program (if applicable)
  • IRS Form 4506-T: Request for Transcript of Tax Return

Supporting documents can be sent to FACTS in any of the following ways:

  1. Uploaded in pdf format online
  2. Faxed to 1-866-315-9264
  3. Mailed to:

Please be sure to include the Applicant ID on all faxed or mailed correspondence.

In addition to our own scholarship funds, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia has formed the Foundation for Jewish Day Schools, through which it distributes funds from Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs. Starting during '17-'18 academic year, the International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. (ISTS) will be processing all the EITC and OSTC applications for the Foundation. The 2017-18 Tuition Assistance application for EITC and OSTC is now available online.  Please note EITC and OSTC application must be completed online only.

Those families submitting complete applications by the deadline will be notified of their tuition assistance awards by mid-April. Funds are not guaranteed after the due date so please make every effort to submit all required materials by February 28, 2017.
