Admissions

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your interest in Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy, Greater Philadelphia’s only pluralistic, college-preparatory Jewish day school serving students in grades 6 through 12 from all backgrounds.

We understand how important it is for families to choose the best school for their children, so we invite you to explore Barrack and to begin a journey of discovery with us. Once you walk through our doors, you’ll see how everyone here is committed to nurturing, inspiring, and preparing young people for the classroom and for life. Our students develop intellectually, socially, and spiritually—and they graduate secure in their identity, abilities, and readiness to succeed as they make a difference locally and globally.

As a proud alumna who has benefited from the Barrack experience, I know that friends made here are friends for life. The relationships our students develop with peers, teachers, mentors, and community leaders help them find their way in the world.

Our online application for 2020-2021 is now open and the deadline is January 17, 2020.

Families will be notified of the Admissions Committee decision on March 1, 2020 and enrollment contracts are due two weeks from receiving an official offer letter. Applications completed after our deadline will be processed on a rolling basis.

On behalf of everyone here, thank you for considering Barrack for your child’s education. We look forward to getting to know you during the admissions process and are available to assist you every step of the way. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at 610.922.2350 or jgroen@jbha.org.

Warmly,
