Art Institute
In Barrack’s Art Institute, students learn to appreciate and connect with a diverse range of artistic expressions and movements, develop a basic understanding of formal art techniques, and acquire an accessible outlet for personal expression.
Through individualized guidance, students refine their technical skills while cultivating their distinct artistic voice and perspective.
As our students witness firsthand how elements such as color theory, composition, and perspective contribute to the overall impact of their artwork, they become more sensitive, mindful, and intuitive in the way they visually express their individual experiences and ideas, finding a balance between representing what they see and what they feel and appreciating the power of art as a medium to connect with our wider communities.
The Art Institute is one of the things I look forward to most during the day. I have loved this opportunity to be creative and
I am so grateful that this Institute exists at Barrack."Ayelet S., 9th grade
