Dara is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and majority owner of DRG. Expert in identifying C-Suite talent and in providing strategic direction to nonprofit boards and management, Dara is sought out by many leading nonprofit boards and leadership to help guide and advise them on issues relating to hiring Talent, organizational design, negotiation and women in leadership.
Dara leads DRG by recognizing the strengths of each member of the team, promoting a strong culture in the workplace, valuing change, pursuing excellence and following her conviction that talent powers success.
With over 20 years of experience working with and advising nonprofits, Dara is a thought leader in the talent advisory space. Dara takes the time to understand her clients. She is a skillful facilitator and masterful at preparing organizations for leadership transitions.
Dara lives in New Jersey with her husband Simon and four kids. She is hard to beat at Mahjong and is a talented musician.
Sarah Raful Whinston
Sarah is a Senior Search Consultant at DRG. She leads searches for organizations that focus on Community Building, Education and Youth Development. She has extensive experience in complex organizations that build and cultivate community and operate a variety of programs for a diverse age constituency.
Sarah’s experience as an Executive Director of and Director of Talent for nonprofit organizations gives her real-life experience into the challenges organizations face in identifying the best talent.She has executive leadership experience in the Youth, Informal/Experiential Education and the Philanthropy space.
Sarah is known for always bringing positivity to everything she does and inspires the same in her colleagues and clients.
Sarah lives in Ann Arbor and enjoys spending time with her husband and their 3 kids.
