Boys Varsity came out on Monday against their oldest rivals, Phelps. With Phelps taking the lead by 2 goals early in the game, Barrack would answer quickly with just one before the half. Phelps got lucky with another 2 quick goals with once again, Barrack replying with another speedy goal headed in by Ari Nahmani. With Phelps scoring yet another 2 goals, the Cougars did not have enough time to gain the momentum and strike back with enough force to win. Solid midfield led by Eliyahu Korn. Jake Gordon played a tough game in net. On the back of this loss the Cougars hope to win their next 2 matches this week and get ready for first round of playoffs next week! Final score: 6-2.
