A Shayna Maidel- Feb. 5-7:
Join us on Feb. 5-7, 7pm at Barrack for the production of "Shayna Maidel," directed by Mira Taichman '12. The play will complement the Centropa exhibit.
World Language Week:
World Language Week begins on Tuesday, Feb.21 and runs through Feb. 24. Get ready for programs, presentations & special cuisine, all with an international flair.
Annie Jr, March 4 & 5:
The Middle School musical, "Annie Jr." will bow on Sunday, March 4 at 2pm & Monday, March 5 at 7pm at Barrack. Plan to join us!
Informal Programs
Shabbatonim
Students celebrate Shabbat together throughout the year, both in school and during special weekend retreats in camp-like settings. Shabbatonim provide an opportunity for students and faculty to bond together, discuss timely Jewish topics, and experience the beauty of Shabbat in a communal setting.
Holiday Celebrations
At Barrack, it is joyful to be Jewish. From blowing the shofar at Rosh Hashanah to dancing and singing on campus for Sukkot, from dressing in costume at Purim to enjoying a school Passover seder, Barrack students, faculty, families and the community celebrate and observe Jewish holidays together.
