Senior Class Trip: The Senior Class Trip is set for Sunday, June 2-Tuesday, June 4. Enjoy!

11th Grade Physics Trip: The 11th grade Physics Trip is set for Monday, June 3.

Graduation Rehearsal & L'hitraot Breakfast: Seniors are to gather at Temple Adath Israel on Wednesday, June 5, 9:30am sharp, for the L'hitraot Breakfast sponsored by the Akiba-Barrack Alumni Association, and a class college shirt photo, followed by commencement rehearsals. See you there!

Class of 2013 Graduation: JBHA seniors graduate on Thursday evening, June 6, 7:30pm at Temple Adath Israel. Dinner for graduates and families is set for 5pm. Reservation forms and information have been distributed. All seniors must be at Temple Adath Israel by 6:30pm. The Senior Class photo is set for 6:45pm. Doors open for seating at 6:45pm as well. Mazel tov to our seniors and their families!

Last Day of Classes & Exams: The last day of classes is Tuesday, June 11, followed by Upper School Review Day on the 12th and Upper School exams on the 13th and 14th.

Middle School

Middle School Field Day and Rocket Launch: Two exciting events on one day: Friday, June 7.

Middle School Move-Up -Day: Middle School Move-Up Day is set for Tuesday, June 11, 2pm- the last day of classes. Congratulations to all our Middle School students and their families!

Middle School Trip: The Middle School is off to Dorney Park on Wednesday, June 12. Have fun!

Bravo to the Cast and Crew of The Sound of Music: Applause, Applause to all involved in this year's outstanding Upper School production of The Sound of Music. Look for full details in the June 7th issue of Benainu.

SmartSchool iPad Showcase: Barrack students, faculty and administrators will participate in the first-ever SmartSchool iPAd Showcase on Monday, June 3, 5:30pm, at the Kohelet Yeshiva High School. This year, all students in area Jewish day schools received iPads, thanks to the generosity of the Kohelet Foundation.

"An Evening With Alison Klayman," June 5: The community is invited to enjoy "An Evening With Alison Klayman," on Wednesday, June 5, 7pm in the JBHA auditorium. Alison, an alum, Class of 2002, is an award-winning filmmaker and journalist who will talk about her unanticipated career in China and share behind-the-scenes adventures in filming her acclaimed documentary- AiWeiWei: Never Sorry. The program is free. However, RSVPs are requested. Please RSVP to program@jbha.org and leave your name, contact information and number of seats to reserve. Join us!

Athletic Banquet: The spring Athletic Banquet is set for Tuesday, June 4, 5:30pm at Barrack. Dinner reservation forms have been distributed. Applaud our athletes and coaches, and enjoy a special guest speaker: Ari Rothman '94, Senior Vice-President of Business for the Philadephia Eagles. See you there!

Congratulations to Tamar Parmet '13, ML Times Athlete of the Week: Hat's off to senior Tamar Parmet who was spotlighted in this week's Main Line Times as "The Main Line Girls Athlete of the Week." A prolific scorer for the JBHA Girls' Lacrosse Team, Tamar passed the 100 goals scored milestone. Way to go, Tamar, and congratulations to the entire team!

Isabel Freedman '13, JBHA Athlete of the Week: Hats off to senior Isabel Freedman, who was named JBHA's Athlete of the Week. She was hailed for her incredible dedication to the Girls' Lacrosse Team, her leadership by example, and her skills and strategy. Congratulations, Izzy!
