On Thursday, the Lady Cougars had a tough loss against Del Val. During the first half, Del Val scored within the first 20 minutes, but the game was quickly tied with a beautiful goal by Caroline Batoff, assisted by Ari Bogom-Shanon. The score at the half was 2-1, Del Val. The final score was 3-1. Lila had 10 stops throughout the game. Shout out to midfield for hustling the entire time, and to the team overall for never giving up. We look forward to facing Del Val again next week, and learning from this game to become a stronger, more cohesive team.
