In their long awaited return to the court, the JV boys came out victorious at home against opponent Wyncote, winning 52-42. Being their first game since the middle of December, the team was a little rusty early on. However, offensive ball movement, defense, and overall awareness improved as the game went on and led to a win. Even as they struggled to score out of the gate, the team built up an 11 point lead going into halftime, and would extend that lead to 15 at one point. Wyncote would remain in the game, but they were not match for sophomore Shawn Martin, who led all scoring with 23 points and was a force in the paint the entire game. His scoring was followed but captain Jack Kolansky with 12 and Cory Barnett with 11, as the two controlled the ball handling for much of the game.  The team has some serious improvements to make, but looks to continue on track tomorrow with a home game against Mercy.
