A PLURALISTIC, COLLEGE PREPARATORY JEWISH DAY SCHOOL FOR GRADES 6-12.
We suited 9 players, and came out doing pretty well. They had a bunch of pretty fast, athletic guards and all and pressed full-court basically the entire game. We handled that nicely even though we got into a little foul trouble. Their guard play put them ahead 36-23 at the half, after the first two quarters were pretty closely contested, and competitive. We kept a slow tempo in the third quarter but we were outscored 21-18 over the course of the second half. We kept a high intensity and played pretty well the entire game. Some sharp-shooting from their guards and a few rushed possessions may have been the difference in our 56-41 defeat today.
