Welcome

H.S.A. Committees

The following information will introduce you to a number of parent volunteer programs. Please review these opportunities and decide what role you would like to play by completing the attached volunteer sign-up sheet. We look forward to hearing from you!

Grade Parents

Grade parents are ambassadors for each grade. They are here to welcome parents to the Barrack family and community, answer questions, and address concerns.

Host Parents

Each grade has a Parent Social Party in the fall hosted by Barrack families who have volunteered their homes to provide new and returning parents an opportunity to get acquainted in an informal setting. We also have "End of Year" Student Parties to celebrate the end of another wonderful school year. The Middle School has an "End of Year" Dance Party that is organized by the Middle School students. The 9th, 10th and 11th grades each has its own grade level "End of Year" party organized by the host parents but funded by the HSA. Barrack's HSA reimburses each host family up to $250.00 per party.

HSA Committees

Want to get involved? Jump on board! Contact the following Committee Chairs and volunteer your time and talents. Your involvement will help us strengthen our Barrack Hebrew Academy community, benefiting our students and faculty. Also note that two committees need Co-Chairs: B'nai Mitzvah Gift Program and the Middle School Musical and Dinner. If these committees interest you, volunteer today!
