2007-2008 Middle School Supply List

If you wish to purchase school supplies before the school year starts, here are some basic suggestions. 

DO NOT BUY A CALCULATOR UNTIL YOU ARE INSTRUCTED TO DO SO BY YOUR MATH TEACHER.

Three ring binder, with at least 8 dividers for various subjects

             (Binder should not be larger than 3")

             (The type of binder that has a front filing system is very useful!)

Folders with pockets (at least four, different colors)

Pencils, pens, eraser, reinforcements, highlighters, colored markers, tape, colored pencils, glue stick

Pencil/pen case to keep in locker OR inside binder

Metric ruler, 3-hole puncher, stapler and staples

Three ring loose-leaf paper

Index cards and box (4x6 or 3x5)

Large file box (to hold 8 1/2" x 11" papers) to store papers at home

Tie-back for long hair (used in labs)

Combination lock for locker

AN ASSIGNMENT BOOK IS PROVIDED BY Barrack Hebrew Academy

In addition, during the first few days of classes, each teacher will give you a very specific list of additional, subject-specific materials to purchase.
