In the fall of 2008, Barrack Hebrew Academy will move to modern facilities on a 35 acre
wooded site located at 270 South Bryn Mawr Avenue in Bryn Mawr, PA.
Our school will anchor the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia's Radnor Campus, the
future hub of Jewish life, learning, leadership and excellence in education.
Barrack Hebrew Academy will occupy two buildings on the scenic campus: the 86,000 square foot
Barrack Education Center and the 30,000 square foot Barrack multi-purpose building.
Plans for the new buildings call for:
- adding new classrooms
- creating a science wing
- developing a cutting-edge technology center
- building a library and media center
- creating a multi-use Beit Midrash
- adding a new gymnasium and playing fields
"Our stellar academic and Jewish studies programs will be matched by world-class facilities and innovative technology,"
shares Jay A. Dorsch, Barrack Board President.
"Our new campus and facilities will open the doors to more students and further position our school as a vital community resource."
Barrack Hebrew Academy is on the move. Plan to move with us.
