We know that Barrack Hebrew Academy families, students and friends have a number of questions tied to our move to the Bryn Mawr campus this fall. Listed below are a number of frequently asked questions and their answers:

Q. When will the school begin this fall?
A. On Monday, September 8, 8:20am

Q. What are student transportation options?
A. Please click here to read a letter that outlines transportation options.

Q. Will lunch be served on the first day in the dining commons?
A. Yes, a kosher lunch will be provided. Menu and cost details to follow.

Q. Are there new security measures in place?
A. Yes. Students will be issued an identification card. When swiped, the card will provide entrance to school buildings. The card will also register student attendance and must be swiped every day to indicate that students are in school.

Q. How will families and students be informed about
new school regulations and opportunities?

A. Family information packets will be mailed in August and a school assembly will be held on the first day of the fall semester. Timely letters from Dr. Steven M. Brown, Head of School, and weekly issues of Benainu will also keep families and students up-to-date on the latest news.

Q. Will parents and family members have an opportunity
to tour the new campus? and facilities?

A.Yes. An Hanakut Ha’bayit, a dedication of our new home, is set for Sunday, September 14. Look for epostcards coming soon. Invitations will follow.
