Student Publications

Barrack students have the opportunity to express their creativity and their opinions in a number of student publications written in both English and Hebrew and illustrated with insight, imagination, and ingenuity. Students also assume leadership roles as reporters, staff members, photographers and editors. Student publications include:

Calliope

The Middle School literary magazine showcases the writing and artistic talents and achievements of our 6th, 7th and 8th graders.

Cougar Chronicle

Students who love to express their ideas and opinions through writing join The Cougar Chronicle, Barrack Hebrew Academy's English language investigative newspaper. Sixth and seventh grade students are invited to submit guest articles and can join the staff in eighth grade.

Gateway

Barrack Hebrew Academy's literary magazine welcomes submissions from students in all grade levels. Gateway editors and staff members edit and layout short stories, essays, poetry, photographs and artwork that showcase the many talents of their peers.

M'Et L'Et

Barrack's Hebrew language magazine spotlights students' stories, articles, photographs and artwork. The magazine demonstrates our students' fluency in Hebrew along the way.

L'Shem Shamayim

Barrack Hebrew Academy's Upper School Hebrew publication highlights vigorous debate on issues important to Zionism, politics, and Israel.

Citadel

The senior yearbook captures the highlights of the school year and the memories and reflections of each graduating class.
