Barrack Hebrew Academy's trimester schedule allows for an extensive elective program in grades 6-12 that inspires our students to expand their horizons and explore their passions and interests in multiple ways.
To expand their knowledge and appreciation of the cultural world in all its many facets, all students are required to enroll in a specific number of visual or performing arts electives each year. As the Arts also integrate the mind, body and spirit, students are required to take one Judaic elective each year as well. Senior electives include AP courses in a number of disciplines.
Upper School electives run the gamut from The History of Rock 'n Roll to Hardball: The Game of Politics; from Electricity to Economics; from Reflections of Eve to Writers' Workshop; and from Painting to Musical Comedy.
