The Hebrew Department at Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy is committed to the belief that the mastery of Hebrew will promote our students' understanding of their history, culture, and tradition; excite them about lifelong Jewish learning; foster a sense of belonging to the Jewish people; prepare them to participate in Jewish observances and traditions of their choice; and forge strong and lasting bonds with Israel.

Hebrew is taught on all levels so that students from many backgrounds and a variety of schools can graduate from Barrack speaking, reading and writing Hebrew.
