Helping children achieve their personal best is the major goal of Barrack Hebrew Academy's Advisory program. From the time students enter our school to the time that they graduate, our team of caring, involved guidance professionals, teachers, and administrators are available and eager to help our students realize their full potential—both in and out of the classroom. We have created a network of support to help assure that every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Our Advisory program groups five to six students from grades 6 through 12 with a faculty member or administrator who serves as the student's advisor throughout his or her Barrack Hebrew Academy years. The advisor is first and foremost a listener, someone with whom the student can develop a trusting relationship, as well as a student advocate.
