Semester in Israel

Barrack Hebrew Academy's Jewish focus naturally includes Israel. Every year a large number of our 11th graders attend the Alexander Muss High School in Israel — Barrack Hebrew Academy's semester in Israel.

Besides the rigorous academic program that follows the curriculum of Barrack Hebrew Academy's first semester junior year back home, the students study Israel firsthand. Every week the group travels to a different site and experiences the material just learned in the classroom.

Students who choose not to participate in this program enjoy an especially enriching program of educational, cultural and social activities, including an intensive study of the history of modern Israel.
