The Midterm Exam is worth 20% of the semester grade. There are NO test corrections for the Midterm exam.
To prepare for the Midterm do the following:
1. Organize all your notes in order including related laboratories, worksheets and evaluations including test corrections. If you are missing any topics, work with a classmate and review the reading to enhance your notes
2. Go through the topics Unit by Unit and put a check next to all topics you know. Highlight topics you have notes on and need to study. Choose a different color to highlight the topics you need help on. You might also put a posted note to index the page.
3. Make good use of the in-class review days. Prepare a detailed list of topics with SPECIFIC QUESTIONS that you want to review.
4. Use your notes to self study and study with a friend. Study a little each night, making marks on the paper to show how many time you are getting a specific topic right or wrong.
5. Make study cards for the topics that are hard for you to remember and get extra help for material you don't understand.
6. Do not stay up too late, the night before the test. Get a good night's sleep. Eat breakfast with complex carbs and protein.
7. Bring to the FINAL -- pencils, pen, water, tissues, extra sweater if gym is cold and a positive attitude for having done a good job preparing for the test.
8. Read each question carefully. Use your pencil to help you read the questions carefully and to eliminate wrong MC selections. Make sure your essay answers have answered all parts of the question.
