We have been studying Act One of Romeo & Juliet.  Also, they have just finished The Kite Runner. 

They will be responsible for class work on the outside reading, beginning on April 7;  a major thesis paper, completed in several stages, in May; and a Shakespeare test in late May.  Also, Shakespeare Day is tentatively scheduled for May 22 -- details forthcoming!

They will continue preparing for vocabulary and grammar quizzes.

We will finish the year with a unit on poetry.
