Project:

Project for NETA 9

Every student will write about his/her name, how they got the name, or who they are named after.  The students will present their project to the class. 

Topics you must include in your paper: (pick 5)

1. Who I am named after / why my parents chose this name
2. What was special about the person I am named after and what is his life story?
3. What did I learn from him and how will I follow in his footsteps?
4. What can others learn from this person?
5. For how many generations has this name been passed down in your family or in Judaism?
6. What famous people in the history of Israel have this name?

The paper must be typed

At least 250 words

At least 20 new words

Must include your picture and the picture of whom you are name after

The paper must have a cover or be placed on a poster. 

Students must hand in a rough draft a week before the final due date. If the paper is not handed in a week before, the student will loose 10 points and the opportunity to have it checked before handing in the final draft. 

Due date:

If the final draft is not handed in on time, you will loose 10% for every day you do not hand it in. 

Grade percentage:

Grammar: 25%

Vocabulary: 25%

Poster / Cover: 25%

Oral Presentation: 25%

NETA Test

The test will take place on the Nov 18 A (4 &5)
