World Languages week at Barrack Hebrew Academy February 27, 2007

The French program at Barrack Hebrew Academy:

  • The French program at Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy offers the latest in communication-based, functional approach to language learning within the context of the Francophone world.
  • The French language becomes personal and relevant to students through realistic mix of activities covering all five skills.
  • While developing cultural sensitivity to the everyday activities of French-speaking people throughout the world, students become intercultural and acquire proficiency in listening to, speaking, reading, reading, and writing French.
  • The French program offers a variety of options and approaches for teaching students at multiples ability levels and within diverse learning styles.
  • The extensive instructional language program integrates the constant use of multimedia (audio and video programs, overhead transparencies, power point, Internet resource center, and interactive CD-ROM) to meet the needs of students in the 21st century.
