We are studying chapter 4 in Alpha Neta. Students should be reviewing vocabulary on a nightly basis. A vocabulary list was given out.

We are now studying Chapter 5 of Alpha Neta. Students should be reviewing vocabulary each night.

Homework due Monday 1/14- Make flash cards for the feminine numbers 1-10.
Seif 5: Read the seven conversations and write down the phone numbers in numerical form.
Welcome to the Third Quarter
Presently we are studying chapter 8 of Alpha Neta. Students should be reviewing vocabulary on a nightly basis.
Homework Due Friday February 1st: Write a seven day journal. (two sentences per day) Use the numbers we have learned to denote time.Utilize the verbs we have learned, in order to describe the activities.
Homework due 2/11/08- "F" day
Review all chapter 8 vocabulary seifim 1-11.
Make sure that you have completed seif 11. It was xeroxed for you, and it is also in the text.

Week of February 19th:
Homework Due 2/20/08 "E" day- Write 5 sentences with the verbs from Chapter 9: seifim 1 and 2. You may also write sentences with the nouns for extra credit. Fill out the table for seif 2. ( interviewing four people on the food they like, and summarizing the most popular foods.)
Homework Due 2/25/08:Write five sentences from seif 3in chapter nine.
Week of 3/3/08: Homework due Thursday 3/6/08
Chapter 9- seif 12- page 178. Submit the answers on a seperate sheet of paper.
Quiz: Friday 3/7 or Monday 3/10 on Chapter 9 vocabulary and the use of "et".
Week of 3/10:
Monday 3/10:Quiz on Chapter 9 and the use of "ET", read seif 16 (page 182).Anwer the question: What do you think Machmud writes about in his website.
Quarter Neta Test : 4/2/08 Wednesday "C" day.
Week of March 17th:
Homework due 3/19/08 : Write 6 sentences from seifim 4 and 5. In addition read seif 5 part Aleph and underline the verbs in the passage. (page 194). On a seperate sheet of paper answer the questions in part Bet. Write about a boy who does whatever he wants to do. Answer the questions according to the example.

Homework due 3/25 "C" day: Seif 8 handout on a seperate sheet of paper.
Welcome to the 4th quarter:
We are now studying Chapter 11 in Alpha Neta. Students should review new vocbulary on a nightly basis.
Week of 4/7/08
Homework due 4/8/08: Write three sentences from seif #1,write an additional five sentences about what Neta wants to do. (instead of studying) Use "Rotzeh+ an infinitive from seif #2.
Homework due Thursday 4/10 "B" day:Seif 5- complete the dialogues using the correct form of the verb.Write 8 sentences with the vocabulary from seifim 3 and 5.
Week of 4/14
Write a similar dialogue at a different restaurant, using the food vocabulary in the orange box. (based on seif 7,pages 219- 220.) due 4/14.
Homework due 4/16-Write six sentences from sefeim 9 and 10. 2) A friend gives you a gift. Write a thank you letter of 3-4 lines using verbs and the infinitive form of the verb.

Homework due 4/30 "B" day- Complete the packet on seif 15.
