Week of January 29 2007

We have started our study of Sefer Vayikra (Leviticus). Our main focus will be on the "Holiness Code" and it's ramifications both in the time of the Torah and today. After an overview of the sefer, we will study the puzzling and tragic story of the deaths of Aharon's sons - Nadav and Avihu. Special attention will be given to Aharon's remarkable reaction - total complete silence.
